Procedure MQC/SP/015 Certification Process The Certification Process Shall be carried out in following Stages |
| Stage 1. Application Form cum Questioner: Organizations seeking ISO 9001;2008 QMS Certification shall submit Application form giving complete details of their business Activities, Size of the Company, Scope etc on MQC Application Format. Audit Manager shall Examine the Application Form, Calculate number of Audit Days required for Document Review and Certification Audit. He shall Communicate with the Organization and Review the ISO 9000 QMS Requirements, Scope required etc of the Company. He must check availability of Specialists with the Company for particular scope prior contacting the Client |
| Stage 2 Quotation: Audit Manager shall submit following information to the Marketing manager. |
| 1. Size of the Company 2. No of Audit Days reuired for Document Review and Certification Audit 3 Any Specialist Required for Audit Activity. The marketing manager shall communicate with the organization and shall clarify all the pending issues including Certification and Audit Fee |
| Stage 3 Initial Assessment The initial certification involves a 2 stage assessment process, including a document review and normally two site visits. The Organization seeking ISO 9000 QMS Certificate should apply for certification in the first instance to a MQC An MQC Auditor will conduct a review of your documentation to gauge the readiness of your management system. You may need to take improvements/corrective actions where necessary. |
| MQC Auditors will perform an initial assessment, which comprises preliminary assessment. The purpose of Initial Assessment shall be to check if the Company has documented the System as per the requirements given in ISO 9001:2008 QMS standard and check Whether all the critical issues have been addressed and All the mandatory Procedures have been adequately documented |
| Stage 4 Certification Audit The Purpose of Certification Audit is to confirm on the Site whether all the Major Elements of ISO 9001;2008 QMS have been established and implemented and to check whether the Organization is maintaining the integrity of the ISO 9001:2008 QMS Standard. Baed on the Findings MQC Auditors shall recommend issue of Certification. The Certification shall be valid for three Years |
| Stage 5 Surveillance Audits |
| Once the Organization receive ISO 9001:2008 QMS Certification then the ISO 9000 Management System(s) shall be periodically checked by MQC to ensure that it continues to meet the requirements of the standard. Two Surveillance Audits shall be carried out in a Cycle of three Years. After three Years the Recertification Audit shall be Carried out for Renewal of Certificate |
| Stage 6 Renewal After three Years the Recertification Audit shall be Carried out for Renewal of Certificate |
