1. महाराजस्य कणि ष्कस य सं 4 [ हे | १ | दि ] १ एतस्य पूर्वायं भिक्षोर्धम्र्मन । न्दिस्य ] ध म्र्म कघि कस्य सद्वये विहारिस्य | भू )
2. प्रतिष्ठपयति महादण्डन यक-हुम्मिय वेदा सक्क- विहारे । अनेन देय-धर्म-परित्यागेन माता पितॄणा आच [यर्याणा]

महाराजस्य कनिष्कस्य सं वत्सरे हे ( मन्त-पक्षे ) १ दिवसे । एतस्यां पूर्वायां भिक्षोधर्मनन्दिनः धर्म-कथिकस्य सार्ध विहारिणः भिक्षु प्रतिष्ठापयति महादण्डनायक-हुम्मिय-वेद्या शाक्य शर्क विहारे । अनेन देय-धर्म-परित्यागेन माता-पित्रो :

English Translation
Success ! In the year 4 of Maharaja Kanishka, in the fortnight 1 of autumn (Hemanta) on 1st day, on this aforesaid (date) the monk, a fellow priest (or class fellow) of the monk Dharmanandin, the preacher of dharma, installs a statue, on the platform of (i.e. built by) the Senior General Hummiya in the Buddhist monastery. With this gift, a plous sacrifice (let the religious merit ?) of (my) parents and the preceptors (increase ?)
हिन्दी अनुवाद
सिद्ध हुआ । महाराज कनक के वर्ष ५, दिवस 4, हेमन्त पक्ष 1 म दिवस 1 म ही! इस पूर्वोक्त तिथि में धर्म प्रवक्ता भिक्षु धर्मनन्दी का सहपाठी अथवा कुलबंधु भिक्षु
बौद्ध विहार में महादण्डनायक हुमिय का वेदी पर प्रतिमा स्थापित करता है । इस देव रूपी धार्मिक त्याग ते माता-पिता और आचार्यों की पुण्याभिवृद्धि होवे !
