सिद्ध हुआ । महाराज राजातिराज देवपुत्र हुविष्क के सं वत्सर ६० के ४थे हेमन्त-मास के १०म दिन | इस पूर्वोक्त तिथि में कोट्टीय गण के स्थानिकीय कुल के आर्यवर्जीय शाखा के वाचक आर्य वृद्धहस्ती के शिष्य, गणि आर्य खर्ण ‘( कर्ण ) के पूज्य —–+ की प्रेरणा से -वतक के कप्पसक की भार्या दत्ता का महान् उपभोगार्थ यह धर्मदान है । भगवान् श्री ऋषभ प्रसन्न होवें ।
English Translation of the inscription
Success in the year 6o of Maharaja Rajatiraja Devaputra Huviska, in the fourth month of winter, on the 10th
day on that (date. specified as) above this meritorious gift as made for the sake of great enjoyment by Datta,
the wife of Kappa saka an inhabitant of a vata, (on the advice of) ganin the Venerable Karna, pupil of
the preacher, the Venerable Vriddhahasti of the Kottiya
gana, the Sthanikiya kula and the Aryya-Vajriya Sakha
(the followers of Arya-Vaira) May the divine (and) glorious Rishabha be pleased.

2. महाराजतिराज देवपुत्रस्य हुविषकस्य य पितामह स्य
3. तर्डा गश्च कृत : ततश्च देवकुलम् भग्नपतित विशि शी णे द्रिश्य द्रिष्टवा महा
4. महाराजतिराज देवपुत्रस्य हुविषकस्य र ब ल वृद्धच र्थ चकु

महाराज राजा तिराज देवपुत्र हुविष्क के पितामह
का जो [ सब प्राणियों का कल्याण करने वाले थे और जिन्होंने सब को अनुयायी बनाने वाले = नेतृत्व गुणों वाले प्रचण्ड वीरों को राज्य-भार सौंपा हुआ था, की समाधि और तालाब बनाया गया । तत्पश्चात् समाधि को टूट कर गिरा हुआ और नष्ट देख कर कुमारामात्य, महादण्डनायक मश के पुत्र वकन प्रदेश के
स्वामी ने महाराज राजातिराज देवपुत्र की आयु और बल की
वृद्धि हेतु और नित्यशः अभ्यागत ब्राहमणों के लिए
– पुन: निर्माण कराया

English Translation of the inscription
The shrine of the Great King, King of Kings, Devaputra, Huvishkas Grandfather, who caused welfare of all creatures and was firm in the true religion and who had entrusted
the administration of his kingdom to formidable brave men
capable of disciplining all, was constructed, and also a tank.
Afterwards, on seeing the shrine broken, collapsed and
disintegrated, the lord of wakhan and son of (Kumaramatya)
Mahadandenáyaka Masa — – — – – – – reconstructed it for
the increase of life and strength of the Great King, King of
Kings, Devaputra Havishka- -and for the sake of Brahmanas perpetually coming as guests.
