अंड़ेमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह का प्राकृत सौन्द्रय अनुपम व मनमोहक है ! इसे धरती का स्वर्ग कहा जा सकता है ! सन १८५७ ई के राजनैतिक कैदीयों को अंड़ेमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह में बसा दिया गया था ! उन्हें असहनीय यातनाएं दी गयी थी ! इस लिए इसका नाम काला पानी रखा गया ! मुझे अंड़ेमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह में १०० दिन रहने का अवसर मिला ! मैंने वहां जो देखा सुना और पुस्तकों में पढ़ा उन सब का वर्णन मैंने एस पुस्तक में दिया है ! भारत की स्वंत्रता के लिए अंड़ेमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह के वासिओं का बहुत बढ़ा योगदान है ! पुस्तक के प्रथम अध्याय में अंड़ेमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह का इतिहास और दर्शनीय स्थलों का वर्णन है ! द्वितीय अध्याय में यहाँ के जन जातियों का वर्णन है ! तृतीय अध्याय में १८५७ से लेकर १९४२ तक के बंदियों का वर्णन है ! चतुर्थ अध्याय में अंडमान निकोबार द्वीपसमूह में जापानिओं का नियमंत्रण व् उनके अत्याचार की दुखद कथा तथा भारत की आज़ादी की कहानी है !

This book describes about the beautiful, nice, attractive island of Andeman Nikobaar. The book also high lights the contributions of local tribes of this region in freedom struggle of India. The book is in two parts.First Part covers history of the region and sight seeing places, while second part covers about local tribes, their Culture & traditions. Third chapter describes about the freedom fighters & Prisoners kept in the Island Jails. Fourth Chapter describes about the tyrant Japanese Rule & torture of local people by cruel Japanese authorities. The story of freedom struggle of of India, can only be realised by us if we visit.
