Dronasimha, also known as Drona Simha, was a prominent king of the Maitraka dynasty. Dronasimha is particularly well- known for his patronage of the arts, literature, and religion. During his reign, the Maitraka dynasty witnessed a period of
cultural and architectural growth, with notable contributions to Hindu and Buddhist art and architecture. One of the most famous monuments associated with Dronasimha and the Maitraka dynasty is the Drona Cave, which is a rock-cut cave temple located in the Junagadh district of Gujarat, India. This cave temple features intricate carvings and inscriptions, reflecting the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the time.
