Indic Chronicles – 8 A

250.00

The Maitraka dynasty faced various invasions and conflicts during their rule. In the 8th century, they were overthrown by the Arab invaders, which marked the end of their rule in Valabhi. However the Maitrakas left a lasting impact on the cultural and historical landscape of Gujarat. Their patronage of art and literature, along with their role in trade, is remembered in the historical records and archaeological findings of the region.
